Base pay range

$35.00/hr - $48.00/hr

Responsibilities
  • Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
  • Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and service equipment.
  • Diagnose, maintain and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
  • Communicate with the Service Advisor so customers are informed if additional service is needed and provide time estimates for additional repairs.
  • Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
Qualifications
  • Official GM experience is required
  • Chevrolet Certification is helpful but not required
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Dexterity with steady hand-eye coordination
  • Mechanical and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Basic computer competencies
  • Positive, friendly attitude and customer service mindset
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Team player with ability to collaborate
  • Ability to learn new technology, repair, and service procedures
  • Able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
