Facility/Maintenance Manager – GE Aerospace
Job Description SummaryInstall, maintain, and repair internal factory equipment. Supervise employees who perform maintenance and tool making. Impacts departmental operations and is responsible for planning and execution. The role has some autonomy but is focused on execution within an established operating discipline, requiring judgment within guidelines.
Roles and Responsibilities- Ensure that manufacturing premises are fully operational, maintained, and clean.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline and use prior experience to execute policy and strategy.
- Understand key business drivers and use this knowledge to accomplish own work and integrate with other teams.
- Apply judgment to propose solutions outside of set parameters while following guidance.
- Supervise hourly licensed tradespeople.
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university or a high‑school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years Facility/Maintenance experience, plus a minimum of 3 years of Facility/Maintenance experience.
- Massachusetts Journeyman license (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or construction).
- Experience supervising hourly licensed tradespeople.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
- Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
- Established project management skills.
The base pay range for this position is $100,500–$120,000. The specific pay may be influenced by candidate experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of base salary or commission. Posting is expected to close on December 18, 2025.
