Job Overview
The Assistant Store Manager will support the Store Manager in areas of sales, customer service, store appearance, and store operations. This position will manage the store during the Store Manager’s absence and/or when working opposing shifts.
The Assistant Manager will be expected to lead the store team members in servicing customers. The role includes leading the store team in providing excellent customer service, supervising customer service levels, working with the store manager to staff the retail sales counter, assisting in setting team member goals, and ensuring all buy online/ship to store orders are processed in a timely manner.
Responsibilities- Lead the store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
- Supervise the customer service levels on the retail showroom.
- Work with the store manager to ensure the retail sales counter is adequately staffed.
- Assist the store manager in setting team member goals and providing feedback.
- Ensure all buy online/ship to store orders are processed in a timely manner.
- Perform all store opening/closing duties, including day end procedures and verifying/securing money/deposits.
- Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification, and RSS Certification are required.
- Certified Parts Professional Certification and ASE Certification are desired.
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).
The base pay range is $15.00/hr - $23.00/hr the total compensation package includes competitive wages, paid time off, stock purchase plan, 401k with employer contributions, medical, dental, and vision insurance, and opportunities for career growth.
