Position Summary
Shift Supervisor Trainee is an entry‑level, short‑term role that prepares employees for higher supervisory positions such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. The trainee performs work as directed, completes basic operations and management training, and learns about customer loyalty, service excellence, and CVS/pharmacy culture.
Essential Functions- Deductive reasoning ability, analytical skills, and computer skills.
- Advanced communication skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early morning, overnight, weekend shifts, and overtime as needed.
- Work effectively with store management and store crews.
- Supervise the store’s crew by assigning, directing, and following up on all activities.
- Effectively communicate information to and from store management and crews.
- Assist customers with questions, problems, and complaints.
- Promote CVS customer service culture by greeting, offering help, and thanking customers.
- Handle all customer relations issues in accordance with company policy and promote a positive shopping experience.
- Maintain customer/patient confidentiality.

High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred but not required.
