Wolfe Design Build is a boutique residential design-build firm known for exceptional craftsmanship and high-touch service. We’re looking for an Experienced Carpenter who takes pride in doing excellent work and is ready to be part of a collaborative, professional team that values both quality and client experience. In this role, you’ll perform skilled carpentry work across all phases of residential remodeling, framing, finish work, and everything in between.

You’ll work both independently and as part of a team, contributing your expertise to create beautiful, lasting spaces for our clients.

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 7 AM–4 PM (occasional Saturdays as needed)

Responsibilities
  • Perform framing, trim, cabinetry, and finish carpentry on residential remodeling projects.
  • Support the Lead Carpenter in daily site operations, setup, and coordination.
  • Assist with material takeoffs, ordering, and inventory management to ensure workflow continuity.
  • Perform minor exterior repairs, including siding patches, exterior trim, windows, doors, and small roof repairs as needed.
  • Participate in daily jobsite start-up and close-down procedures, including safety checks and documentation.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite.
  • Mentor and assist less experienced carpenters and apprentices in proper techniques and company standards.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and specifications accurately.
  • Assist with move-in and project closeout, including punch lists and client transition.
  • Uphold company safety and quality standards at all times.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of residential carpentry experience, including framing and finish work.
  • Solid understanding of construction sequencing and attention to detail.
  • Team-oriented with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency (Word, Excel, email).
  • Experience with Job Tread
    , Builder Trend
    , or similar project management software strongly preferred.
  • OSHA-10 required;
    RRP and CSL a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and your own tools.
  • Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs, climb, stoop, and work on your feet for extended periods.
  • Attention to detail in maintaining organized, clean, and safe worksites.
