Commercial Driver – Part Time

Overview

Commercial Driver – Part Time at ALLDATA/Auto Zone. You’ll use safe driving skills, operate company-provided vehicles, and support delivery operations in an essential retail environment. The role offers career stability and growth opportunities in a dynamic, customer-focused setting. No Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is required.

• Customer Service Excellence & Communication – Deliver WOW! Customer Service by engaging with commercial customers and DIY shoppers, providing clear and professional automotive advice and offering installation services.
• Leadership & Teamwork – Collaborate with store personnel and commercial accounts to ensure smooth teamwork and strong customer relationships.
• Metrics Mindedness & Process Orientation – Maintain efficient delivery operations, meet time and accuracy goals, and follow company policies.
• Delivery Operations – Drive company-provided vehicles, ensure safe and timely deliveries of automotive parts to commercial customers. Load and unload parts per route schedules.
• Returns & Pickups – Collect returns, cores, and parts from nearby stores or outside vendors.
• Safety Compliance – Adhere to PPE guidelines and fleet safety policies to maintain a safe driving and working environment.
• Cash & Charge Transactions – Process customer payments securely and in accordance with company policies.
• Product Knowledge & Fleet Maintenance – Stay updated on promotions and automotive products via Auto Zone systems. Maintain delivery vehicles and report issues promptly.

• Minimum Age:
  Must be at least 18 years old to apply.
• Valid Driver’s License & Safety Compliance:
  Must possess a valid driver’s license and adhere to driver safety requirements.
• Automotive Knowledge:
  Basic knowledge of automotive parts is required.
• Physical Requirements:
  
  Ability to lift, load and deliver merchandise.

• Education:
  
  High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Exceptional Communication:
  Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Automotive Retail:
  Previous experience in automotive retail
• Hazmat Endorsement: A Hazmat endorsement is a plus for handling regulated materials.
