Position: Children's Pastor Northwest Church Lynnwood, WA, United States of America Children's Ministry

Children's Ministry Director (Full-Time or Part-Time)

Are you passionate about helping children and families grow in their faith? NW Church is seeking a dedicated Children's Ministry Director to lead our program and create a safe, fun, and spiritually enriching environment for our kids. We are flexible in our search and open to both full-time and part-time candidates, and the position is open to both internal and external applicants.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the Sunday Children's Education Program: Organize and implement high-quality, age-appropriate curriculum for our Sunday morning programs.
  • Teach and Mentor: Teach classes as needed and ensure the delivery of engaging lessons.
  • Recruit and Support Volunteers: Supervise, train, and support Children’s Ministry volunteers to create a safe and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Plan Special Events: Organize special activities and events throughout the year to foster fun and build relationships among children and their families.
  • Maintain Coordination: Manage the Children’s Ministry calendar and prepare and distribute curriculum materials to assistants and volunteers.
  • Collaboration and Partnership: Work closely with our Youth and Education Pastor to ensure a consistent and cohesive educational experience across all ministries. This includes:
    • Receiving mentorship and guidance from the Youth and Education Pastor.
    • Co-leading the planning and execution of the annual Kids Camp.
    • Promoting Children's Ministry programs throughout the church community.
    • Collaborating on service and fellowship opportunities.
