Job Summary

The Plant Maintenance Manager is responsible for the maintenance of real property, utilities, and the planning of expansion and acquisition of new buildings and equipment. The Manager contributes to profitability and growth by providing adequate plant space, utilities, and services. The Lynnwood site is a 30‑acre, high‑tech facility with over 210k sq.ft. and 900 employees.

Essential Functions
  • Maintain efficient and reliable facilities system operations.
  • Identify and investigate improved methods to reduce facilities operating costs.
  • Oversee all planning and project management for facilities, building renovations, and new construction.
  • Manage facilities planning, including preparation of requirements and specifications for building size and utility requirements.
  • Manage approved projects, including coordination, scheduling, budget management, and final cost accounting.
  • Provide project support for internal functional groups and Industrial Engineering for moves, new equipment installation, and facility modifications.
  • Obtain, maintain, and ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal environmental permits and regulations.
  • Develop, implement, and coordinate policies and procedures for environmental protection.
  • Participate as a member of the emergency response team.
  • Build a highly skilled, motivated, customer‑focused team.
  • Any other tasks assigned by supervisor or management.
Non‑Essential Functions
  • May be required to fill in or assist the facilities team with daily indoor and outdoor tasks.
  • Support the operations team with future factory goals and participate in site strategic goals.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in Facilities Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering.
  • Full understanding of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), Lean principles, 5S, TPM, and lean office facilities.
  • Ability to make decisions quickly during crisis situations.
  • Ability to plan, schedule, and review work and performance of subordinates.
  • Excellent communication skills and tact.
  • 5+ years of experience managing people.
  • BA or BS in Industrial, Mechanical, Civil, Facilities Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Eligibility:
    Position may require access to Controlled Data. Only US Persons considered per ITAR.
