Quality Controls Corporation, a Control System Integrator and equipment manufacturer in Lynnwood, WA, is currently seeking a full time Controls Estimator to join our sales department. This person will evaluate bid documents and prepare project bids and proposals, working with vendors, contractors, and consultants to ensure accurate scope and competitive pricing. Applicable knowledge and previous experience in the industrial controls industry is required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Work with contractors, vendors, and consultants to identify potential job opportunitiesReview and evaluate project plans and specificationsDevelop labor estimates and material take-offsDevelop accurate bid proposals clearly identifying proposed scope of workCoordinate with bidding contractors to ensure thorough proposalsSolicit vendor quotes for material and servicesProduce consistent, reliable, and competitive project pricingFollow up on project bids and evaluate bid resultsSupport customers and follow up on potential projects until sale is finalSupport project management and engineering staff through construction phase as neededSKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in the industrial controls industryCollege degree preferred, but education requirements dependent on industry experienceExcellent organization and time management skillsExcellent verbal and communication skillsStrong computer skills (Excel, Word, Adobe, Bluebeam, AutoCAD)
