Radiology Technologist

Job Summary

As a Radiology Technologist at Virginia Mason, you will help capture usable diagnostic images from patients so the Radiologist can accurately diagnose and/or rule out different conditions.

• Perform various imaging examinations such as X‑rays and diagnostic fluoroscopy.
• Engage directly with patients, providing a positive patient experience.
• Apply knowledge of imaging workflow, patient positioning techniques, and precise capture of results to support accurate diagnosis.

• Washington State certification as a Radiologic Technologist and a certificate from the American Registry of Radiological Technology (ARRT).
• Graduation from an approved accredited diagnostic radiologic program or successful completion of equivalent training.
• Completion of 24 hours of continuing medical education every two years.
• Valid CPR license, renewed every two years.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology, and organizational abilities.
• Willingness to adapt to technological changes in the field and manage stressful situations appropriately.
• Ability to attend to multiple tasks, work independently, and remain versatile and flexible.
• Physical ability to lift 50 pounds.

$39.53 – $55.70 per hour
