Job Description
Succurri is a fast growing locally owned IT Business Solutions Provider. We provide all IT‑related support services for small to medium size businesses across the western United States.
Ideal Candidates- Recent graduates who will be cross‑trained in our hardware department and help‑desk support.
- Future growth opportunities in our project team, cybersecurity team, network engineer path, or support management.
- The Service Desk Technician is responsible for handling first‑level support of service requests.
- Responsibilities include workstations, servers, printers, networks, and vendor‑specific hardware and software.
- IT support for Microsoft’s core business applications and operating systems.
- Support of disaster recovery solutions.
- Basic technical support at the network level: WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, and security.
- Remote access solution implementation and support: VPN, Terminal Services, and Citrix.
- Monitor remote monitoring and management system alerts and respond through service tickets.
- Maintain and review system documentation in Connect Wise.
- Communicate with customers as required, keeping them informed of incident progress and notifying them of impending changes or outages.
- Improve customer service perception and satisfaction.
- Fast turnaround of customer requests.
- Work effectively in a team and communicate clearly.
- Coordinate with the Service Desk Dispatcher to ensure requests are routed properly.
- Escalate service requests that require engineer level support.
- Enter time and expenses in Connect Wise as they occur.
- Complete Connect Wise University training materials and blueprints.
- Enter all work as service tickets into Connect Wise.
- Advanced understanding of operating systems, business applications, printing systems, and network systems.
- Interpersonal skills such as telephony, communication, active listening, and customer care.
- Diagnostic skills for technical issues.
- Ability to multi‑task and adapt to changes quickly.
- Technical awareness to match resources to technical issues appropriately.
- Service awareness of all organization’s key IT services being supported.
- Understanding of support tools, techniques, and how technology is used to provide IT services.
- Typing skills to ensure quick and accurate entry of service request details.
- Self‑motivated with the ability to work in a fast‑moving environment.
Starting at $45,000, PTO, fully paid health benefits, and a 401(k) retirement plan.
