Job Description:
As The Law Offices of Lance R. Fryrear continues to grow, so does the need for stronger operational efficiency to support our expanding team and client base. The Director of Operations is a key leadership role designed to bring clarity to the chaos, refining workflows, optimizing internal processes, and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Operational Oversight: Oversee and optimize the firm's day-to-day operations, ensuring effective management of case workflows and administrative processes.
- Team Leadership: Directly manage the team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture built on trust, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Process Improvement: Assess the firm's unique operational needs to determine what processes and KPIs make the most sense.
- Training and Development: Conduct training sessions to educate staff on new processes and systems.
- Stakeholder
Collaboration:
Work closely with legal teams and leadership to ensure cross-functional processes are aligned with the firm's operational goals and client service standards. - Performance Metrics and Special Projects: Develop and monitor key performance indicators related to operational efficiency, case management timelines, and staff performance.
- Bonus Program Development: Design and implement a performance-based bonus program for attorneys and case resolution.
Requirements:
- Experience: At least 3-5 years in operations management, with at least 2 years at the director level, preferably in a legal setting.
- Emotional Intelligence: High level of emotional intelligence with the ability to navigate complex interpersonal dynamics.
- Process Development and Implementation: Proven track record in creating, implementing, and driving transformative operational processes and programs.
- Strategic Thinking and Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to identify potential operational blind spots and preemptively devise solutions.
- Innovative Management and Communication
Skills:
Expertise in developing and implementing innovative management strategies and communication plans. - Technology Proficiency: Strong understanding of current technological trends and tools relevant to operations management and legal practices.
