The sales teammate position’s primary responsibility is to fulfill our mission statement: “To create the most enjoyable shopping experience possible for our Guests.” Additionally, sales teammates perform a variety of sales, merchandising, and operational tasks assigned by Store Management (e.g., cashiering, merchandise display and pulls, register procedures, and routine cleaning of facilities).
Compensation & BenefitsPay range: $16.66–$19/hr for sales positions, Buckle pays a base rate plus 3% commission on sales. The range listed is the estimated base rate plus commission for teammates in this position.

- Greet guests, provide legendary service throughout front 5, sales floor, fitting rooms, and register area.
- Answer product and store questions; recommend and select merchandise.
- Anticipate and fulfill guest needs; suggest additional items.
- Demonstrate product knowledge and sales education; share knowledge.
- Maintain knowledge of current sales & promotions, policies, and security practices.
- Achieve personal sales and performance goals set by Store Management.
- Check out and bag purchases; prepare merchandise for alterations; handle returns/exchanges.
- Keep sales floor clean, organized, shoppable.
- Follow all loss prevention and security guidelines; perform bag and purse checks.
- Assist with visual merchandising: display items, re‑merchandise, prepare new freight.
- Maintain professional positive floor culture; acknowledge recruiting opportunities.
- Work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, major holidays.
- Perform other duties as assigned, with no supervisory responsibilities.
No prior experience or training required.
Physical DemandsMust stand, walk, lift up to 30 lbs, and use hands repetitively. May require climbing, stooping, kneeling, and talking/ hearing.
Work EnvironmentRetail store environment; moderate noise levels.
