Cooler Keeper

Reporting to the Produce Department Head (or his/her delegates), the Produce Cooler Keeper is responsible for managing the produce storage area, including coolers. The position also requires providing good customer service to our customers, maintaining inventory, and ensuring workplace cleanliness.

T&T Supermarkets has celebrated over 30 years as Canada’s favorite Asian grocery store and recently announced its first U.S. store. Our expansion into the United States offers great opportunities at our flagship store opening in 2024 in Bellevue, Washington, within the Marketplace at Factoria, spanning 76,000 sq.ft. and will become the largest Asian specialty supermarket in Washington state.

• Manage the receiving of products, conduct quality inspection, and place products in the store.
• Maintain inventory and product quality; follow the FIFO concept; and ensure proper display of various products.
• Sort, pack, label, and store produce products in the storage and promotion coolers.
• Maintain storage area cleanliness, wash and keep work tools clean and well‑kept.
• Keep warehouse, display, and walk‑in coolers clean and tidy.
• Follow procedures to process produce inventory control reports.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the superior.

• Complete secondary education and above.
• Prepared to stand for long periods and handle products, lifting up to 40 pounds regularly.
• Comfortable working in low‑temperature environments (0‑4 ℃) regularly.
• Knowledge of basic workplace safety.
• No allergy to handling produce products.
• Relevant experience in handling produce products is preferred.
• Friendly and enthusiastic about serving customers.
• Ability to communicate in English and Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin) is an asset.
• Flexible to work in shifts, including weekdays, weekends, evenings, and statutory holidays.
