About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled Interior Finish Carpenter to join our Insurance Department. This role focuses on repair and restoration projects—bringing homes and multi-family residential properties back to their pre-damage condition (or better). The ideal candidate has a keen eye for detail, strong finish skills, and the ability to work efficiently in occupied units with care and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities- Perform interior finish and repair work, including:
- Drywall finishing, blending, and texture matching
- Interior painting and touch-ups
- Installation of doors, windows, trim, millwork, and baseboards
- Flooring installation (vinyl, carpet, LVP, wood)
- Tile installation (showers, surrounds, and floors)
- Laminate counter top fabrication and installation
- Read and follow plans, work orders, and insurance repair scopes
- Ensure a clean, safe job site and maintain professional communication with homeowners and team members
- Minimum 3+ years’ experience in interior finish carpentry and residential repair work
- Strong knowledge of drywall finishing, trim work, painting, and flooring installation
- Ability to take material take-offs and plan ahead
- Fully tooled and capable of independent work
- Strong communication skills in English (bilingual a plus)
- Reliable transportation (may need to move between job sites in a day)
- Must pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs frequently
- Comfortable with ladder/scaffold work and frequent bending/over-shoulder tasks
- Ability to work full 8–10 hour shifts
- Competitive hourly wages ($28–$32 DOE)
