Property Maintenance Technician

A company vehicle is available for this position, so a clean driving record is a must! Property locations all over the Greater Seattle Area.

We are seeking an energetic, motivated individual to join McLeod Construction as a Property Maintenance Technician. In this role, you will address common maintenance issues across properties, perform repairs & clean up as listed, and recommend additional work as needed. Our ideal candidate has a strong knowledge of all-around property maintenance and carpentry skills.

Duties include (but not limited to):

• Perform routine and scheduled maintenance across multiple properties
• Light construction work, including rough and finish carpentry, drywall installation and finishing, interior and exterior painting, wallboard repair, gutter repairs, etc.
• Maintain grounds and cleanliness of communities including trash pick-up, pressure washing, light landscaping, etc.
• Building/property assessment for needed repairs
• Reporting completed tasks & any additional work noted to project manager daily via computer entry

Knowledge &

Skills:

• Proficient in working with computers and calendar management (MS Outlook, Excel - Data Entry Only)
• Must have knowledge of and experience using a variety of power and hand tools
• Must have a basic understanding of carpentry, painting, and drywall principles
• Take-charge mentality, yet able to follow directions
• Ability to handle all personality types

Company Requirements:

• Ability to pass criminal background check.
• Competitive hourly wages with annual evaluations and consistent opportunity for growth - Starting wages between $30 and $34 – Dependent on Experience
