Recreation Specialist II - Fitness Instructor​/Personal Trainer

This position implements and teaches group fitness classes at the Lynnwood Recreation Center. The position is within the Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts Department and works under the direction of the Recreation Supervisor.

Includes but is not limited to such essential functions as listed below:

Minimum age of 18 years, certification as a fitness instructor or certified personal trainer or ability to obtain within three months, valid First Aid card, and valid CPR card are required qualifications. Must successfully pass a WSP background check and is required to work early mornings, evenings, or weekends. Must have already completed a group fitness or personal training certification to be eligible to meet minimum requirements within the next ninety days.

Mossa or Zumba certification preferred.

This position is covered by the Part Time Salary Schedule.
