ResponsibilitiesUnder direct supervision of the OR Patient Care Manager, the Sr. Surgical Tech maintains responsibility for the care of the patient in the OR. Duties include assisting with direct patient care activities, preparing and stocking the OR before and after surgery, gathering clean and sterile supplies, setting sterile instrument fields, maintaining and monitoring aseptic techniques, assisting with the orientation of new staff, and participating on departmental committees.

The client is seeking to create a per diem pool for Scrub Technician Day (Operating Room).
Qualifications- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- BLS Certification within 30 days and maintain current.
- Two years of demonstrated surgical technologist experience in multiple specialties in an acute care facility.
- Successful completion of an accredited course in surgical technology.
- Certified Surgical Scrub Technician or equivalent required (State Specific).
