Assignment Length: 26 weeks / day – per diem

Responsibilities- Under direct supervision of the OR Patient Care Manager
- Assisting with direct patient care activities
- Preparing and stocking the OR before and after surgery
- Gathering clean and sterile supplies
- Setting sterile instrument fields
- Maintaining and monitoring aseptic techniques
- Assisting with the orientation of new staff
- Participating on departmental committees
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- BLS Certification within 30 days and maintain current
- Two years of demonstrated surgical technologist experience in multiple specialties in an acute care facility
- Successful completion of an accredited course in surgical technology
- Certified Surgical Scrub Technician or equivalent required (State Specific)
