Responsibilities- Provide administrative supervision for the department and assist the unit Director/Manager.
- Develop and implement departmental plans, including performance improvement and regulatory compliance.
- Prepare, conduct, and oversee orientation and training for staff.
- Communicate with staff, physicians, and administration.
- Ensure quality of service and supervise personnel during shifts.
- Assist with daily unit operations and direct staff for immediate patient care adjustments.
- Perform direct patient care as needed within scope of practice.
- Current and valid California Registered Nurse license.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate upon hire and maintenance.
- Minimum three years of Charge Nurse or equivalent experience preferred.
- Advanced certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP, CCRN) may be required based on unit.
Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits including paid time off, 401(k), medical/dental/vision coverage, tuition reimbursement, and additional voluntary options. Estimated wage range: $42.37 to $54.60 per hour before benefits.
