The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The RN provides direct patient care within the scope of practice and directs and guides patient/family teaching and the activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care in the ICU. The RN is directly responsible and accountable for the care given to assigned patients, communicating with the physician about changes in the patient’s clinical condition including hemodynamic monitoring, results of diagnostic studies, and abnormal results.
The RN must respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment and maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
Education, Experience, Training
- Current and valid state RN license.
- Current BLS certificate upon hire and ongoing maintenance.
- Completion of Critical Care Course preferred.
- Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
- Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and ongoing maintenance.
- Minimum of one year as a staff RN in acute care hospital, critical care preferred.
- Critical Care RN (CCRN) certification preferred.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

The current compensation range for this role is $50.11 to $67.36. The exact starting compensation will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, considering skillset, years of experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
