Management Accountant

Overview

RG Consultancy are delighted to be working with an excellent, well-established business based in Lytham who are looking for an experienced Management Accountant to join their team.

This Management Accountant role requires someone to take ownership of the day‑to‑day finance function across a diverse group of businesses. Reporting directly to the Group Director, you will ensure the accuracy, integrity and timeliness of financial information.

• Leading the month‑end close process
• Preparing timely and accurate management accounts including detailed variance analysis and commentary
• Completing balance sheet reconciliations and escalating any concerns
• Maintain strong internal controls and a program of continuous process improvement
• Supporting with the annual business planning across the group
• Overseeing sales and purchase ledger
• Daily sales and bank reconciliations
• Be the key point of contact for external stakeholders
• Supporting year‑end process and working closely with external auditors

This Management Accountant role is ideal for someone who is used to working across multiple entities and is comfortable with complete end‑to‑end accounts. There will be excellent scope to develop and would suit someone who is looking to move into a Financial Controller role in the next few years.
