Service Care Solutions are working with a reputable and long-established financial planning firm supporting both personal and corporate clients across the UK. Due to continued growth, the firm are seeking an experienced and motivated Paraplanner to join the team in Lancashire.

As a key member of the support function, you will work closely with financial advisers to deliver high-quality technical research, report writing, and client service. This role is integral to ensuring clients receive accurate, compliant, and holistic financial planning solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth research on financial products, providers, funds, and client solutions
  • Prepare detailed, compliant suitability reports across pensions, investments, retirement planning, and tax-efficient strategies
  • Support advisers by analysing client information and producing appropriate recommendations
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate client records, including risk profiles and compliance documents
  • Monitor regulatory and legislative changes to ensure advice remains compliant
  • Assist with technical queries related to financial planning and products
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with advisers, administrators, and clients
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of internal processes and client service standards
Experience & Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Paraplanning role or similar financial planning support position
  • Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (or equivalent) OR working towards (essential)
  • Strong technical understanding of pensions, investments, tax planning, and the broader advice process
  • Excellent written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly
  • Strong attention to detail and exceptional organisational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to work autonomously, prioritise workload, and meet deadlines
  • High standard of professionalism with a commitment to compliance and accuracy
  • Strong team player who enjoys contributing to shared goals
