Job Description & How to Apply Below
Position: Taalvisite in Stichtse Vecht.

In 2016, the Angstel Vecht en Venen Library in the municipality of Stichtse Vecht started the Taalvisite project. Taalvisite focuses on reducing language delay in children between the ages of two and twelve. Volunteers visit a family for one hour a week for fifteen weeks. They read to the children or read together with the children. In addition, they undertake all kinds of language activities.

The parents are involved in Taalvisite in such a way that after those 15 weeks they can read to their child or help them read.

For the Taalvisite project, the Library is looking for volunteers who want to read to children at home once a week after school, in the afternoon or early evening, for 15 weeks. The children often come from families with Dutch as a second language. Families are registered via the GGD and/or primary school. We are looking for volunteers who want to do Taalvisite in Maarssenbroek.
