Food Procurement Coordinator M​/F

Overview

Helping people who live below a certain subsistence level directly by distributing food made available by third parties.

• Actively approach new producers, suppliers, and retailers for food supply in accordance with NVWA guidelines.
• Liaise with existing relationships that supply food or have done so in the past.
• Inform Logistics and Transport steering groups about progress and agreements.
• Consult with Logistics and Transport regarding future deliveries and agreements on food collection.
• Maintain relationship file with relevant contact information and status updates.

• Good communicator.
• Experience in approaching companies and retailers.
• Team player with strong social skills.
• Capable of working independently.
• Flexible, solution‑oriented.
• Knowledge of the Dutch Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority (information sheet 76) for charitable institutions.
• Computer skills (Word, Mail).
• Availability of 4 hours per week, preferably spread over the week.
