Volunteer Youth

4—6 hrs/Week

Youth & Money South Limburg is an initiative that provides young people with knowledge about administration and finances. Volunteers offer free, low‑threshold one‑on‑one support to help them manage their financial matters.

• Act as a buddy to a young person, especially regarding financial matters.
• Support the youth in organizing their administration.
• Help them make income and expenditure transparent.
• Give tips and advice on balancing income and expenditure.
• Teach skills they can use to manage money independently.

• At least eighteen years old.
• Good rapport with young people.
• Interest in finance topics.
• Ability to guard confidential information.
• Solution‑oriented, positive attitude.
• Proficient social skills.
• Fluent in Dutch.
• Availability to support a young person for about one year, 1–2 hours per week.
• May be required to submit a VOG.
