Retail Merchandiser

Overview

Do you have what it takes to make the shelves irresistible to shoppers? Do you have a knack for spotting what looks good and creating eye-catching displays? Do you have an eye for detail? At eXPD8, we are looking for a Retail Merchandiser based at Tesco Mablethorpe LN12 1FB
. You will be an integral part of a field-based retail merchandising team, working on behalf of exciting household name brands. While you will be based in one area, there are work opportunities across a variety of different stores.

You will be responsible for ensuring the fixtures are set up effectively, products and promotions are displayed attractively, and the shelves are well-stocked. This is a temporary position with end date 23/04/26. There may also be ad hoc work as interested and agreed.

This role will work across a variety of categories including:
Toys and books. Confirmed working days/hours: 7.5 per day. Monday 08:00 – 11:45, Thursday 08:00 – 11:45.

• Compliance and Standards: follow merchandising standards and guidelines, store policies and procedures, and health and safety guidance.
• Planogram execution: follow and implement planograms to ensure consistency and compliance with merchandising standards.
• Product Placement and Replenishment: arrange and organise products on shelves and displays to maximise visibility and appeal.
• Promotional and Point of Sale Setup: set up promotional displays and signage to communicate prices, discounts, and offers.
• Strong communication and relationship building: build and maintain good working relationships with in-store colleagues, particularly department and store managers.
• Feedback: provide accurate and timely feedback to client account teams via the feedback application, acting as the eyes and ears in the stores.

• Experience of, or a passion for, merchandising, retail and/or customer service.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to own your work within set time frames and use initiative to find solutions.
• Delivering great standards and service for clients.
• Comfort with some manual handling to move and arrange products from warehouse to shopfloor.
• Willingness to accept home deliveries of point of sale or stock items for some visits (paid extra).
• Confidence using a company tablet to download briefs, take photos, and answer questions about tasks.
• A full UK driving licence and access to a car is a bonus.
