Registered Nurse; RN; Surgery​/Bariatric - Acute Care

Role Overview: The RN Clinical Nurse is an integral part of an interdisciplinary team providing high-quality, safe, patient-centered care. They practice in a clinical environment guided by evidence-based standards, professional practice models, and organizational values.

• Perform the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, ensuring individualized care and optimal outcomes.
• Deliver relationship-based, culturally sensitive care tailored to patient populations.
• Partner with patients and families through effective communication, education, and goal-focused care planning.
• Coordinate safe, quality care documentation and promote a respectful, inclusive clinical environment.
• Support performance improvement initiatives, evidence-based practice, and research activities.
• Participate in professional development, mentoring, and serving as a preceptor to foster a qualified workforce.
• Adhere to organizational policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements, including accreditation standards.
• Contribute to protocol development and resource management for optimal patient outcomes.

• Associates or Bachelor's Nursing degree (Bachelor's preferred).
• Current RN licensure (single-state or multi-state compact).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Less than one year of clinical experience post-nursing education preferred but not required.
• Proficiency in clinical standards, teamwork, communication, and critical thinking.
