Up to £80,000 package (DOE)
The Role You will take responsibility for the commercial and contractual management of landscaping projects, rom tender stage through to final account. You will provide commercial leadership to project teams, ensuring projects are delivered within budget while maintaining full contractual compliance across all stages: pre-construction, project enabling, mobilisation, delivery, and completion.
Key Responsibilities Review and assess contracts prior to engagement Support tender reviews and update Bills of Quantities/Materials in line with project information Assist with programme development and alignment to project scope Support internal project launch meetings following contract award Attend and assist with client pre-start meetings Support the appointment of designers and specialist subcontractors Assist in managing long lead items and procurement strategy Contribute to programme development and client reporting Review drawings, specifications, and ensure compliance Support labour planning and allocation (maintaining forward visibility) Assist with procurement schedules and material call-offs Lead or support subcontractor pre-start meetings Complete monthly cost-to-complete assessments and budget reviews Maintain regular client engagement, including formal progress meetings (minimum fortnightly) Identify, manage, and submit variations/change requests through to instruction Prepare and agree monthly Applications for Payment (AfP) Review and challenge project cost reports to ensure accuracy and control Oversee End Day Forecast (EDF) reporting and financial tracking Prepare, negotiate, and agree final accounts Manage retention recovery and close-out process About You Proven experience as a Lead / Senior QS within construction, civils, rail, or infrastructure Strong commercial acumen with the ability to manage projects from start to finish Confident working closely with clients and wider stakeholders Able to take ownership and thrive in a growing, hands-on environment
Experience with in landscaping or specialist subcontracting is advantageous (but not essential) Why Apply?
