Teaching Assistant Location – Macclesfield Pay - £90 - £95 per day depending on experience About the Role
Teaching Personnel are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our agency and have opportunities to work in secondary schools in the Macclesfield area. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people with SEN.
As an Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and the SENCo team to provide tailored support to students with a range of needs, including autism, ADHD, and social, emotional, and mental health challenges. Your role will involve helping students access the curriculum, develop confidence, and achieve their full potential in a safe and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide one-to-one and small group support for students with SEN.
- Support classroom learning
- Promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external professionals.
- Experience working with children or young people with SEN (school-based experience preferred).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and patient in challenging situations.
- A genuine passion for supporting young people to succeed
- GCSE level standard education.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
