We’re working with a well-regarded secondary school in Macclesfield looking for an energetic and committed PE Teacher to join their team this September. It’s a school where sport is valued, participation is high, and the PE department plays a big role in school life.

• Teaching PE across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 available for the right candidate

• Delivering engaging practical and theory-based lessons

• Promoting teamwork, leadership, and healthy lifestyles

• Supporting extracurricular clubs, fixtures, and school sport events

• Encouraging participation from all abilities, not just the obvious athletes

• A supportive SLT who value sport and enrichment

• Strong facilities and established schemes of work

• Clear behaviour systems that allow you to focus on teaching

• Opportunities to lead clubs, teams, and potentially take on responsibility within the department

• UK QTS

• Experience teaching PE at secondary level

• Confident behaviour management in both indoor and outdoor settings

• A passion for sport and student development that pupils can feel
