We’re working with a well-regarded secondary school in Macclesfield looking for an energetic and committed PE Teacher to join their team this September. It’s a school where sport is valued, participation is high, and the PE department plays a big role in school life.
If you’re someone who can inspire teamwork, build resilience, and get students properly involved, whether that’s on the pitch, in the sports hall, or out on the field, this could be a great fit.
What you’ll be doingTeaching PE across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 available for the right candidate
Delivering engaging practical and theory-based lessons
Promoting teamwork, leadership, and healthy lifestyles
Supporting extracurricular clubs, fixtures, and school sport events
Encouraging participation from all abilities, not just the obvious athletes
A supportive SLT who value sport and enrichment
Strong facilities and established schemes of work
Clear behaviour systems that allow you to focus on teaching
Opportunities to lead clubs, teams, and potentially take on responsibility within the department
UK QTS
Experience teaching PE at secondary level
Confident behaviour management in both indoor and outdoor settings
A passion for sport and student development that pupils can feel
