Primary Teacher – Supply & Long-Term Opportunities

Premier Education Ltd is working with several primary schools across the Macclesfield and Congleton area to fill qualified teacher positions on a supply and long-term basis.

We seek enthusiastic, adaptable teachers passionate about delivering engaging lessons and supporting pupils’ progress. Supply teaching offers the opportunity to gain experience in various school settings while maintaining flexibility that suits your availability.

The role may involve working across EYFS, Key Stage 1, or Key Stage 2, depending on your experience and school needs. Some positions may also support pupils with SEN.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively and create a positive learning environment.
  • Adapt teaching to meet the needs of different learners.
  • Work collaboratively with school staff and support teams.
  • Mark work where required and provide feedback to support pupil progress.
  • Support pupils’ academic and personal development.
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching in UK primary schools (placements considered for ECTs).
  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
  • Flexible and positive approach to working in different school settings.
  • Ability to provide two references covering the last two years of employment history.
  • An Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
Pay

£130–£160 per day (dependent on experience, role, and responsibilities).

The successful candidate will have a responsibility to safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people, in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) guidance. An enhanced DBS check will be required as part of the recruitment process.
