The Apprenticeship department is excited to announce that we are looking for a team member to join as an Apprenticeship Lecturer in Brickwork and Maintenance.

Key ResponsibilitiesThe post-holder will be involved in the planning, delivery and assessment of apprentices studying for Brick and Maintenance standards.
- Support learners in achieving their academic goals and career progression by delivering high quality lessons, ensuring high student attendance and satisfaction.
- Comply with all college quality assurance procedures as prescribed by the Director of Apprenticeships to ensure the achievement of all internal and external audits.
- Use all appropriate resources effectively to ensure the learners’ experience results in positive learning outcomes and high professional standards.
- Take overall responsibility for the Health & Safety of students within the teaching area and conduct relevant risk assessments where appropriate.
- Thoroughly prepare suitable teaching, learning and assessment materials for a range of courses/classes and use a variety of appropriate learning and teaching methods.
- Have an up-to-date syllabus and scheme of work (showing methods of delivery and embedded cross-cutting themes) for each course/class taught.
