Supply Teacher - East Cheshire

Location:

East Cheshire, including Macclesfield, Congleton, Sandbach and surrounding areas

Contract:

Full-time and part-time, temporary

Pay: £130-£160 per day, depending on experience

We are recruiting enthusiastic and adaptable primary teachers to work in welcoming schools across East Cheshire, including Macclesfield, Congleton and Sandbach. We offer day-to-day supply work, short-term cover and long-term placements across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, with opportunities matched to your experience, preferences and availability.

The role

Teach across EYFS, KS1 or KS2, depending on your experience and the school's requirements.
Deliver engaging and inclusive lessons that support pupils' learning and progress.
Follow the school's existing plans or plan and assess lessons for longer-term placements.
Create a positive, well-managed classroom environment in which pupils can thrive.
Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and other school staff to support pupil outcomes.
Adapt confidently to different school settings while maintaining high teaching standards.

What we are looking for

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification recognised in the UK.
Recent experience of teaching in UK primary schools.
Strong classroom and behaviour-management skills.
A positive, flexible and professional approach to teaching.
An enhanced DBS certificate, or a willingness to obtain one.
A commitment to safeguarding in accordance with Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE).
