Salary: £36,000 - £40,000 + Bonus

The Opportunity

We are recruiting for a Design Manager to join a growing manufacturing business based in Stockport.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced design professional to lead a small team while overseeing a variety of projects from concept through to production. Working closely with customers and internal departments, you will ensure projects are delivered to a high standard, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a small design team.
• Manage project workloads and priorities.
• Oversee the creation of design concepts and technical drawings.
• Liaise with customers to understand project requirements.
• Ensure designs are practical, cost-effective, and suitable for manufacture.
• Work closely with production teams to support successful project delivery.
• Maintain high standards of quality and accuracy throughout the design process.
• Drive continuous improvement and contribute to the growth of the department.

About You

The successful candidate will have:
