** Your Role
** We are looking for a skilled and customer-focused
** Field Service Engineer
** to join our growing Service team.

As the technical face of JBTMarel, you will play a critical role in supporting customers through the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of our industry-leading tray sealing machinery. Using your electrical and engineering expertise, you will ensure equipment operates at peak performance while delivering exceptional customer service and technical support.## ##
** What You'll Be Doing
** Installation & Commissioning
* Install and commission Proseal machinery at customer sites across your region
* Ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently prior to handover
* Support machine upgrades and modifications where required

Service & Maintenance
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance to maximise machine reliability and uptime
* Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and mechanical faults quickly and effectively
* Provide both on-site and remote technical support to customers

Customer Support & Training
* Deliver operator and maintenance training to customer teams
* Build strong relationships with customers through professional and responsive service
* Ensure customer issues are resolved quickly and effectively

Business Support
* Identify opportunities for spare parts sales, service agreements, and equipment upgrades
* Complete service documentation and reports accurately
* Ensure all work is carried out in line with company procedures and Health & Safety standards  ##
** What You'll Bring
** Essential* Recognised apprenticeship or qualification in Electrical or Mechatronic Engineering (NVQ Level 3, HNC/HND, or equivalent)
* Experience working with automated machinery, ideally within a manufacturing or food production environment
* Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills
* Mechanical fault-finding experience and understanding of machinery systems
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications
* Full UK Driving Licence
* Valid passport and willingness to travel when required
* Strong understanding of Health & Safety requirements  Desirable
* Experience with in the food processing or packaging industry
* Previous field service, commissioning, or maintenance engineering experience
* Experience delivering customer training and technical support
