An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Physiotherapist to join our friendly Trauma and Orthopaedics Therapy Team in East Cheshire.

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and dynamic Physiotherapist with proven experience in the assessment and treatment of patients within trauma and orthopaedic ward settings.

About the service:

We are an exciting team, offering assessment and treatment to patients in trauma and orthopaedics.

We work holistically within a large multidisciplinary team including Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Nurses, Consultants, Assistants and Social workers.

This is a part-time post available as a fixed-term contract until October 2027. The role is based at Macclesfield District General Hospital and requires working on Tuesdays, Thursday and Fridays.

We welcome applications from Graduate visa holders; it is important to note that you must have a minimum of 12 months before this expires at the start of your employment for training and operational reasons.

As a Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist you will be required to provide a high standard comprehensive physiotherapy assessment and treatment service for patients with a wide range of conditions working as an autonomous clinician, using accurate analytical skills and clinical reasoning to interpret assessment findings, making diagnoses where appropriate, identifying patient problems, setting goals, and providing an appropriate treatment plan and progression.

Upon the completion and maintenance of competencies, the post holder would be able to participate in the weekend orthopaedic physiotherapy roster if they wish.
