Client Details
An organisation within the not-for-profit sector located in Macclesfield. They are a diverse multi-academy trust delivering excellent educational provision for pupils in primary and secondary schools across the North West. They are ambitious about the future, and passionate about ensuring young people have access to the very best opportunities and life chances. Description
Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with organisational objectives.
Manage supplier relationships to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
Oversee contract negotiations and ensure compliance with agreed terms.
Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or concerns.
Ensure adherence to procurement policies and legal regulations.
Analyse spending data to identify cost-saving opportunities.
Collaborate with internal teams to understand procurement needs.
Maintain accurate records of contracts and procurement activities.
Profile
A successful Procurement and Contracts Manager should have:
Experience in procurement and contract management within a similar setting.
Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
Knowledge of procurement regulations and compliance requirements.
Ability to analyse data and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Clear and effective communication skills.
Attention to detail and strong organisational abilities.
Job Offer
Salary between £53,054 to £60,864 dependent on the level of experience.
Comprehensive pension scheme.
