Elderly Care Registered Home Manager

We are looking for a confident, hands-on manager with strong CQC knowledge, excellent leadership skills and proven business management abilities.

As Care Home Manager, Nursing Home Manager or Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the effective day-to-day running of the home, ensuring high standards of care, regulatory compliance, staff performance and business success.

• Lead and manage the overall operation of the care home.
• Maintain CQC compliance and promote a culture of quality, safety and continuous improvement.
• Ensure residents receive high-quality, person-centred care.
• Lead, motivate and develop the care team.
• Manage budgets, occupancy, staffing costs and financial performance.
• Oversee recruitment, training, staff retention and performance management.
• Maintain effective care planning, safeguarding and risk management procedures.
• Build strong relationships with residents, families, colleagues and external professionals.
• Drive continuous improvement across care quality, service delivery and business performance.

• Essential: Proven management experience within the elderly care sector.
• Experience as a Care Home Manager, Nursing Home Manager, Registered Manager or equivalent senior care manager.
• Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, compliance, inspections and quality assurance.
• Excellent leadership, communication and people management skills.
• Strong commercial awareness and business management capabilities, including budgets and occupancy.
• A proactive, organised and hands-on management approach.
• A genuine commitment to delivering high standards of care for older people.

A nursing qualification and current NMC PIN are preferred but are not essential
.
