Mechanical Assembly Technician £33,155 - £35,760 Sign on bonus of £1000 once probation is completed Stockport Permanent We are currently recruiting on behalf of our brilliant client in Stockport for a Mechanical Assembly Technician.

Working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday and paying £33,155 - £35,760 per annum, depending on your experience.

There is also a significant starting bonus on offer.

Duties will include:

Ensure assembly and build quality is of optimum standard.

Ensure machinery is of optimum quality and working standard prior to delivery.

Attending site for machine commissioning and breakdowns.

Working to deadlines and delivery dates.

Ensure production instructions and quality standards are met/exceeded.

On-site commissioning and customer training.

You will need to be:

Experienced in being responsible for the mechanical assembly of all sub and main assemblies.

Able to read and understand engineering drawings.

Able to carry out repairs, and servicing of all equipment.

Proficient in general engineering, marking out, drilling, and tapping.

Carry out work on-site, or off-site as requested and agreed.
