Production Operative
Temp to Perm | Full Training Provided
 
Pickles Recruitment is currently looking for Production Operatives to join a well-established manufacturing business on a temp-to-perm basis.
 
This is a great opportunity for reliable, hardworking people who are looking for a genuine long-term position within a busy and supportive production environment.
Previous manufacturing or production experience would be an advantage, but it isn't essential as full training will be provided.

The Role
As a Production Operative, you'll work as part of an established production team and receive full training to operate specialist production equipment safely and efficiently.
Your responsibilities will include:
 
Operating production machinery following full training
Following Standard Operating Procedures and site instructions
Monitoring the production process
Checking finished products for quality and accuracy
Identifying and reporting any quality concerns
Ensuring work is completed to the required standards
Following all health & safety procedures
Keeping your work area clean, safe and organised
Working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve production targets
Carrying out general production and housekeeping duties as required  Shift Pattern
The main roles operate on a two-week rotating shift pattern:
Week 1
Monday to Friday
6:00am - 2:00pm
Week 2
Monday to Thursday
2:00pm - 10:00pm
Friday
12:00pm - 6:00pm
There may also be opportunities to work a day shift:
Monday to Thursday
8:00am - 4:00pm
Friday
8:00am - 3:00pm
Candidates applying for the rotating shift positions must be able to work both the early and late shift patterns.

Ideally have previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment
