CNC Setter
Location:
East Cheshire, England (commutable from Warrington, Altrincham, Knutsford, Middlewich, Macclesfield, Wilmslow & Southwest Manchester areas)
Contract:
Permanent
Salary: £ per annum
Hours:
6-2pm/2-11pm (Mon-Thu) & 2-6pm Friday (late shift)
- Setting & Operating CNC Lathes or machining centres
- Programs mainly generated offline so only experience of modifying or altering of programs required.
- Producing one-off and short‑run precision components from engineering drawings and 3D CAD models.
- Machining a variety of materials.
- Time served or apprentice qualified in a relevant discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years industry experience.
- Ideally experience of programming but not essential as most programs are generated offline so only alterations needed at the machine.
- Able to work well on your own and as a team.
