Here at Hydes, food quality and looking after our people is key. As our Pub Chef, you will enjoy delivering excellent food standards always in a friendly and supportive environment.

As a key member of the brigade, you will have an attention to detail, ensuring all dishes are prepared to spec, and have experience of all stations with the ability to produce a range of starters, mains and desserts. You will also support your Kitchen Manager with food ordering, stock management, and maintaining a 5-star rating. You may have previous experience in a small but busy pub kitchen environment.

You may also be a commis who is looking to progress.

Alfreds has a casual laid back atmosphere, where customers can enjoy a spot of lunch, maybe a few drinks after work, or meeting friends in the evening.

Established in 1863, Hydes Brewery is based in Manchester has expanded to include a portfolio of nearly 50 restaurants, pubs, bars, and hotels, and continues to grow, while still retaining its family feel. We have pubs across Greater Manchester, Lancashire and throughout Cheshire including Chester and Wrexham and some in the Wirral, near Liverpool.
