Sales Advisor

Our client is a growing business with an expanding commercial team and is looking to appoint a motivated Sales Advisor.

This is a great opportunity for someone with previous sales, telesales or customer-facing experience who is looking to develop their career within a commercially focused environment. You don't need years of experience. The right attitude, confidence and willingness to learn are just as important.

The role combines customer engagement, relationship building and new business development. You'll speak with prospective and existing customers, understand their requirements, identify opportunities and work towards converting them into new business.

You'll have clear targets and plenty of opportunity to develop your earning potential, with uncapped commission and realistic first-year earnings of £37,000-£45,000.

The role will involve:

* Speaking with customers and prospective clients by telephone

* Identifying and developing new sales opportunities

* Building positive relationships with customers

* Understanding customer requirements and presenting suitable solutions

* Following up opportunities and managing your own pipeline

* Working towards individual activity and revenue targets

* Maintaining consistent levels of sales activity

* Taking ownership of your own performance and development

We're looking for people who are confident, personable and commercially minded. Previous experience in sales, telesales, customer service or another target-driven environment would be useful, but we're also interested in people who have the right personality and attitude to develop within sales.

You'll need to be comfortable speaking to people over the phone, able to build rapport quickly and resilient enough to deal with objections and rejection. Most importantly, you'll need to be motivated by achieving targets and have the ambition to progress.

 * £25,000 basic salary (35-hour working week, Monday-Friday)
