Adult Social Worker – Community Team (Macclesfield, Cheshire East Council)

£37 per hour

Are you an experienced Adult Social Worker looking for your next challenge?

Cheshire East Council is seeking a dedicated Social Worker to join their Community Team in Macclesfield, helping to support adults in the local area to live independently and improve their quality of life.

In this role, you will:

Undertake assessments and reviews in line with Care Act requirements

Support adults with complex needs to achieve positive outcomes

Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams and partner agencies

Contribute to safeguarding practice and risk management

Promote independence and well-being across the community

Requirements:

Social Work qualification (Degree/Diploma in Social Work or equivalent)

Current registration with Social Work England

Previous experience within adult services/community teams is highly desirable

Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, policy, and practice guidance
