About the Role
We are working in partnership with a reputable Housing Association who are expanding their team and seeking a dedicated Service Coordinator / Housing Support Worker.
You will support adults living in supported accommodation, holding a caseload of 4–5 clients and providing around 5 hours of direct support per week per person. Support includes welfare checks, appointments, tenancy sustainment and practical assistance to build independence.
This role involves lone working and delivering trauma-informed, person-centred support to help clients stabilise, progress and move into permanent housing.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop personalised support plans and deliver one-to-one sessions.
- Provide housing-related support, including tenancy sustainment and move-on planning.
- Carry out welfare checks, safety checks and respond to emergencies.
- Identify and act on safeguarding concerns.
- Maintain accurate digital records and documentation.
- Work with housing partners and external agencies to coordinate support.
About You
Essential:
- Experience in supported accommodation or a similar support role.
- Strong understanding of safeguarding.
- Experience with support planning, risk assessment and key working.
- Able to stay calm and de-escalate challenging situations.
- Comfortable working a rota and lone working.
- Strong communication skills and ability to build trust.
- IT-literate and able to handle confidential information appropriately.
Desirable:
- Experience using digital record systems (e.g., Pyramid).
- Full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
- Confident working independently.
