Job Duties- Operate radio and answer/transmit emergency (911) and non-emergency calls for Macedonia and surrounding communities.
- Perform computer data entry (CAD).
- Work shifts including weekends and holidays; shift differentials apply ($1.00 for 3 p.m.
- 11 p.m., $1.50 for 11 p.m.
- 7 a.m.).
Salary ranges from $24.57 to $30.57 per hour, depending on experience, subject to collective bargaining. Benefits include health insurance, paid vacation, sick leave, holidays, uniform allowance, and multi-jurisdictional bonus. Accrued time can be transferred.
Minimum Qualifications- Full-time employment as a Civil Service Police, Fire, or EMS Dispatcher with at least two years' experience.
- Current LEADS and EMD certifications.
- Experience with T.A.C. Cad system preferred but not required.
- Must pass psychological, physical, polygraph tests, drug screening, background check, and interview.
