We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join our team as a Staffing Coordinator
. In this essential role, you’ll help ensure our nursing department runs smoothly by managing schedules, supporting staff, and maintaining compliance with staffing standards. If you enjoy organizing, problem-solving, and working in a team-focused environment, we’d love to hear from you.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Self-starter with initiative
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • Experience in long-term care preferred
  • Prior staffing experience is a plus
Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule nursing staff to meet State, Federal, and company guidelines
  • Adjust staffing based on PPD to ensure budget compliance
  • Post monthly schedules via Smartlinx by the 20th of each month
  • Accept call-offs and arrange replacements as needed
  • Prepare daily staffing assignment sheets and participate in staffing meetings
  • Track STNA attendance points and monitor weekly hours to minimize overtime
  • Maintain accurate schedules and manage shift swaps and census-based staffing
  • Coordinate training schedules and onboarding for newly hired STNAs
  • Assist the Director of Nursing in identifying and resolving retention issues
  • Communicate professionally across departments and maintain confidentiality
  • Serve on committees and perform other duties as requested
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
  • Use of hands and arms for typing and paperwork
  • Occasional lifting of office supplies or documents
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to handle interpersonal conflicts professionally
