Job Type: Full-Time Job Summary We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Shipping / Value Added Services Associate to join our 1st shift team. This position is responsible for preparing, labeling, packaging, and inspecting products to ensure customer orders are completed accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate is hands-on, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Complete product labeling, shrink wrapping, bagging, and tagging orders.
- Perform product rework and packaging adjustments as needed.
- Gather materials and supplies needed to complete orders.
- Operate shrink sleeve and labeling equipment, making minor adjustments when necessary.
- Perform routine quality checks to ensure accuracy and product standards.
- Assist with picking, packing, and preparing customer orders for shipment.
- Complete production and shipping paperwork accurately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Communicate any safety, equipment, or quality concerns to supervisors.
- Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse policies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous warehouse, shipping, packaging, or production experience preferred.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for detailed packaging and labeling tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and a dependable work ethic.
- Previous forklift/tow motor experience preferred; willingness to obtain on-site certification required.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and move up to 40 lbs. repeatedly for periods of 20–40 minutes.
- Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Comfortable bending, twisting, reaching, stooping, and kneeling as needed.
- Ability to perform repetitive hand movements and detailed manual tasks.
