Join our team as a Backstretch Facilities Tech at our Horse Racetrack. In this position, you'll perform important semi-skilled and heavy‑duty tasks, such as inspecting, repairing, and maintaining horse barns and equipment. You'll enhance barn infrastructure, including stalls and flooring, while ensuring safety and operational standards are met. Be a vital part of our team and contribute to the success of our racetrack!

• Inspect horse barns for damage, wear, and safety hazards, and report findings to supervisors or managers.
• Perform repairs and maintenance on barn structures, tack rooms, and dormitories, including stalls, doors, and flooring.
• Operate power washers, leaf blowers, and lawn equipment to maintain exterior surfaces.
• Maintain and repair water systems and lighting components as needed.
• Keep accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities, submitting daily log paperwork, and follow safety protocols to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
• Provide recommendations for improvements and upgrades to enhance barn functionality to property leadership.
• Keep work areas clean and organized, disposing of waste materials properly, and complete all required training.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1+ years of relevant experience in carpentry, construction, or a related field.
• Experience operating heavy machinery is required.
• Basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems is preferred.
• Must be willing to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
